You may need an impact gun to get the pulley nut off, Or loosen it while the pump is still on the car. And like rlyons said, keep it all clean.

dude, I'd just go to the dealership and order each of those seals.......like I was saying to a guy on here awhile ago, most of the time only two seals in the pump actually go, and those can be bought for about 10 bucks cdn at the dealership.......and I think when I asked the guy, he said all the seals would be about 27 bucks cdn. I live in Brampton, so it should be the same for you in TO.

I will look into it. MY P/S has been on a slow death and im gonna start by rehauling the pump and possibly replacing the belt. You dont have part # by any chance? if not ill look at the diagram and guess.

thanks for the help.
I decided to remove the pump and tear it down, im in the process of rebuilding it with all new seals, so Ill let ya know if that works. Right now I dont have power steering, the car feels marginally peppier. If someone had taken it out I wouldnt have thought the car is faster. p/s is such a handy thing to have, between convenience or performance advantage, I would choose convenience factor.
also gonna replace the fluid, belt and hoses that come off reservoir.
here are a few pics:

Just got in from installing the pump, power steering is good as new, I highly recommend anyone with p/s woes to first replace 5 seals in the pump.

ya i thought about making a DIY but the information is readily available in the online work manual, also its pretty simple procedure of keeping everything clean and organized.
