    Can't pass emissions? Help

The first time I got my emissions done was even before I got the turbo tuned and my numbers were a little lower than today, last time I got 5 times more HC and CO than allowed. This time I got 6 more times than allowed and this is after I tuned the car and all. My O2 sensor works and I have a hi flow cat installed, I do have an EGR block off plate installed so my EGR is not there anymore. What do you guys recommend that I try? (No CEL'S)

Hmm... sounds like theres not enough oxygen during the combustion process.
try replacing your air filter then clean out egr ports an intake manifold if your not too lazy.
maybe time for a new cat?

Cat is brand new. Here are the numbers:
      HC ppm: 227 Allowed: 168
      CO %: 6.71 Allowed: 1.08

I do have a fuel additive in it right now, its the Lucas octane booster. Can that cause the numbers to go up that high?

I dont like adding any additive in my fuel. Try cleaning out your EGR ports and such that will lower the CO. Make sure also the cat is fully warmed up before they test it.

Im not sure about this but I think a high flow cat would clean emessions up less.

Oh and as far as the high HCs check your timing, check your spark plugs.

you need to make sure your egr is functional! this will lower your emmisions! also make sure your cat is hott! drive it around for a while and dont turn off your car prior to the testing..

its not an ebay special cat, its a real one thats guaranteed to pass emissions, should i get new plugs? mine are kinda of chocolate looking, i think they have dry carbon build up?

yep new plugs will burn more fuel (could lower HCs).

HIgh flow cats can pass with tuning. I know a couple of boosted people that have passed with the catco high flow cat. I would clean your EGR though its easy doesnt take long and it helps driveablility and lowers CO which is what you have. What do you mean chocolate looking like black black or grey ish.

if you have an egr block off plate, why don't you take it off and put your egr valve back on? later.
