    Vtec

well my VTEC pressure sensor wasnt wired up because the wire broke at the pin in the connector so i just re-wired it to get rid of my CEL. well obviously VTEC wasnt engaging with the CEL, but even after i cleared it, it still doesnt engage. i dont have a CEL and i have oil in the car, any ideas?

Is your car up to operating temp. You sure you plugged it in the right opening?

bad idea to rev your car like that when it's cold. and is the solenoid itself bad?

i havent checked the solenoid yet, i dont drive it hard when its cold. i let it warm up before i do anything hard on it.

Are you driving the car or revving it in neutral??? If your revving it in neutral bad for the motor and vtec wont engage.

you sure you cleared the CEL? 6500 limit sounds like its cold... disconnect the battery for a while and try again.

btw, if you tie the d6 pressure sensor wire to the a4 solenoid wire, it wont check for the pressure sensor.
