Quick question related to my battery

The negative battery terminal is loose. I realized this tonight after driving my car for a while I shut if off and then it didn't start. I looked and the cable was almost off the terminal completly. I was wondering if this could throw a CEL light and also my main question could a loose battery cable be a cause as to why my car has been bogging out a little bit? A couple of days ago my CEL light turned on and it was code 43 which is defective fuel system, so could a loose battery cable be related to that as well? Thanks guys

Reconnect it pull the 7.5amp fuse in the fuse box forgot which one it was called (kinda drunk right now) but drive it around after tightening the terminal down and see whats up.

Remove the fuse or replace it? What would removing the fuse accomplish?

no he ment pull it out for a couple min. to reset the ecu then put it back in

And yes, poor ground can cause the problems you listed.
