    power mirror problem

For some strange reason when I went adjust my mirrors it kept moving like I was holding it. so I push it to the other side and it started also. So now its in the middle and I had to adjust it by hand but I cant get it in a comfortable position. Im pretty sure its a short but I thought it would stop working if that was the problem. Any suggestions?

so when u move the selection switch to the left or right the mirrors move? maybe it's stuck?.. lets say u move the selection switch to the left side(driverside) and the mirror begins to adjust to the left .. then you switch the selection switch to the right(passenger side) and the miror begins to adjust to the left as well. then i say it's stuck/broken. open it up and clean it out?

I will try that. When I push it to either side it keeps on pushing. If I push it to adjust in another direction it gets stuck that way also.

Take the switch out and spray the inside good with the lubricating type of tuner cleaner you can get at Radio Shack. Mine was sticking and it was just full of dirt and grime.

            Ah yes.
            That is a great idea.

When in installed my JDM power folding mirrors(on my other car), that started to happen to me as well.
