      so does that mean that the balance shaft seal will come out if that thing that honda was supposed to put there is not fixed?

          Yes, there is a chance of the balance shaft seal 'walking' out on you as it did on both his and mine. Have one put in on your next timing belt... they're inexpensive.

            yea, i was going to say this, but it's already been fixed, just hope they put the seal retainer on or you will have the same issue another 100K or so later.
