My room mate's accord started puking oil from the between the block and where the filter mounts onto. I checked and it's not the filter. I was wondering if anyone here has changed this part, and if so how hard was it?

if the motor has an OEM oil cooler in that location, then you can change the O ring inside of it, which has been known to leak

Very common to have the oil cooler oring leak. It gets hard and cracks. You will need to remove the oil filter and then use a wrench and remove the oil filter threaded stud and the cooler comes loose from the block. Also make sure that the oil pressure switch which is directly above the oil cooler isn't leaking. Also a very common problem and less than $10 at the dealership.1993 Honda Accord LX-auto--bone stock for now.--248K
