honestly you should get a 2.25 magnaflow oes muffler it looks stock with a 2.25 flexpipe with no cat with no resonator it will sound a little stock until you get on it . And if the cops pull you over you will have no problem saying its stock. And if they pull you over you should install a killswitch when you get pulled over turn it on when they tell you to start it and rev it ,say it wont start when they tell you to turn the key the car wont start theyll look at you and leave and go to the next person when they do wait a little while turn the killswitch off and leave. And if they give you a ticket anyway you can get it dismissed on the way it looks,just because it looks stock.

Just a thought:
Can you go to police station, explain your situation, and ask to have it metered voluntarily? If its good then they should be able to give you papers saying its good to go (so you can show a cop if you get pulled over). If its too loud, THEN go and replace parts or whatever else you have planned. That way you know whether or not you even need to change anything.
