    Leaks galore!

Well...I ran into a problem, and discovered why my oil was dissappearing even though I wasn't burning any. Let's see:

    1) Oil pan gasket shot
    2) Rear main seal shot
    3) Lower timing belt seal shot
    4) Front main seal shot
    5) Balance Shaft seal shot

How hard is it to get to the rear main and front main? Those seem to be leaking the most.

for the rear main, you have to take the tranny out, the clutch and flywheel, then just pull the old one out and replace it,

for the front, remove belts, remove crank pulley, remove timing belt and the cover, and same, pull the seal out and replace with the new one,

might as well do the balance shaft while your doing the crank seal

I've had my CB about 7 years, and within the first few years managed to get to almost every external seal on the engine.....now it doesn't leak a drop at 251,000 miles. If you do a clutch, get that rear-main seal in. And if you do your timing belt/water pump take care of the balancer shaft/cam/lower front main seals. Seals are cheap from Honda......
