vss and shaking

ok so i was on my way home from my gf house and then a cop pulled behind me so when the light turn green i looked at my speedo just to make sure and the damn thing wasn't working then just like magic i got a CEL pulled to the closest gas station checked the code 17 ok vss not that big a deal but then every time i came to a stop my car would kind of shake the vss wouldn't be causing this would it please help thanks

Well you can change it and see what happens. A lotta things can cause shaking.

well would that cause the shaking its not a warped rotor

ok so its shaking cause my idle is at 550 so would the speed sensor have anything to do with that

Is it at a constant 550? or does it fluctuate?

before the CEL comes on its at 700 and then when it does at stops its at 550 and does drop to 5 and sometimes below then jumps to about 6 after awhile of driving but right when the CEL comes o its at a steady 550

dont even consider trying to fix the idle or shaking... fix what you know is wrong first. fix the vss and youll probably notice that the idle is back up and the vibration is gone.
