Strange noise 93 accord se

Lately i've noticed that under my hood there is a strange noise that sounds like a loud squeak.......I used to notice it when i turned on my heat or AC.....but when i turned it off it would go away.....but lately it does it for no reason....i know where the sound is coming from....i just don't know why...it sounds like somethings dry!!!......if anyone can help thanks

Its either the belt itself or maybe the pully need a little bit of lubricant or maybe you dont have enough fluid in the powersteering reseviour.

squeking sound

check the alternator belt tension since more of a load like heat or a/c makes the alt work harder it will sound louder. also make sure the tension bolt is still there. happed to my 93 accord se to and i found the bolt laying near the alt. also if u remove 1 belt best to replace all to save time later on. good luck let me no wat happens

Agreed. If you replace one belt replace them all. They wear at the same rate and itd be a waste of time to replace the outside one only to have the inside one break, necessitating doing the ouside belt over again.
