    Floor & Frame Repair Suggestions

    Hey Everyone,

I am planning on repairing the rusty, holy, old floor of my CB. I thought I might as well try to stiffen my frame up a bit. I have heard about re-welding the frame, but what does it actually mean?

Might this require adding frame braces? Has anyone either or fixed their floor and reinforced the frame? I am not planning on adding a roll cage, but rather trying to stick to a more subtle frame reinforcement idea.

    Thanks in advance
    DEVOTE

i was thinking about crossbars underneath from rail to rail to strengthen how bad is the rust and where is the part that you have to replace take a pic and post it you may be best getting a replacement part from either a junkyard the whole floor or getting a patch panel from the dealer

the re weld method is basically re welding the spot welds on the frame rails under the car

    the build and demise
buy stuff i want a new car

No pics yet...but when I got my car sprayed for rust protection, there was barely a floor, we could touch my carpet...apperantly my seats are being supported by the carpet!

I will have to replace the entire floor, thats why I was thinking, might as well do some frame reinforcements.
