    converted external dizzy to internal ran fine now no spark..

    ok so my dizzy went so i gota new 1 (usdm external) so i took apart my old dizy took the coil out & the doubel wire, put it in the new 1, hooked up the wires, spliced the black & yellow togather on the inside wrapped it in elec tape and she started right up, drove her to work ran beautifly.....today i soldered that wire because it was really short and i didnt want it to come loose while driving.... i put the cap & rotor back on (yes correctly) and now no start, just cranks took it backa part inspeceted it and i cant get it to start can someone pLeaAAaSSe help me

    check and see if you got sparks flying to the sparkplugs, if u dont its somthing to do with the distributo....just because you stuck a working distributor it mita have taken the crap out on ya right when u decided to solder it together...i have things like that happen to me many times....

      not cool, lol yeah im gonna pull a plug and see if theres spark, i doubt there is since its not starting..

        Problem Solved

        okk so my eng came with a spare coil when i got it and that was the only thing i could think of that could be causing it to not start, so i swaped them and she started right up

        --my advice is if you solder in the distributor, disconnect the 2 wires going to the coil


        who needs a manual anyway
