Did you try the PT3 ECU? It's possible the PT6 you got from the junkyard isn't good.
That's all I can think of... I mean, you hooked everything up properly, right?
My only other suggestion would be to swap over ALL sensors (including that one on the primaries... I don't even know what it is) from the A1 manifold. Unless you have a blockked vac port somewhere, I don't see what the problem could be.
If you haven't fixed the TB issue, I have that spare one lying around for you.
i would go w deev on the sensor suggestion.Did you reuse your old IAT seonsor or did you use the one that came with your new a6 mani?

try switching out the iat sensor first, it couldnt take more than 5 munites.
did you reuse your fuel rail/injectors?what about your fuel pressure regulator?

I think the IAT could cause problems... if it isn't reading the right temperature, it's not reading the proper density and oxygen content... That HAS to be it.
If it runs the same with the PT3 as it does with the PT6, we can rule out electronics.
If you're SURE you have the vac lines right, then it's not that, unless there's a blockage (and I was careful not to damage any vac connections).
If there's no vacuum leaks and you reused almost everything I'm sure you can pinpoint any problem. From what you have said it's not a simple mechanical thing like the plugs or injectors or even the IAB. It's gotta be the computing/brain problem thinking it's seeing or not seeing something.
Which ecu did you use?
I used my old IAT sensor because the one that came with my IM looked like crap. Definately check that out.
You haven't posted since 2:40, what have you done? Post up tomorrow what the status is and exactly what the symptons are.

problem is FIXED i just need to somehow wire the IAB box properly. the throttle body gasket was put on wrong, so i wasnt getting enough air at idle because one of the vaccum ports was blocked so i tore it down and fixed it and it started right up. the i switched back to the pt6 from the pt3 that i was using. the IABs open up but i dont think they open at 4700 which i would like them to because i want some good low end too but for right now everything is buttoned up
i can feel my iab's kickin in on my f22b, i have them connected straight to a vac nipple on the IM.they kick in at 4300ish.
