I repeat, once and twice DO NOT BUY A REMANUFACTURED ONE. I did and it was bad, took it back and bought an OEM one from http://www.hondapartsdeals.com/ cheapest place and fast shipping.

IF you are loosing fluid you can get die and then check it perioadically(sp?) and see if you can find the leak, could be your caliper seals.

If the brake slowly goes down to the floor its the brake master cylinder. Mine went about a month ago, I went to Autozone and got a rebuilt one for 40 bucks. Now I stop on a dime! hehe

    Good luck!
Thats not a very good method in my opinion, Ive had 2 cb7s where half the time the pedal was stiff as hell, and perioadically(sp?) it would go to the floor, then finally after i put it off for a long time it went to the floor various times, but sometimes it was still stiff.

well buddy anybody can add fluid ,, did u bleed teh clutch master cylinder??,, that could be the problem, try that, and if it still persists check the lines, you may bave a leak some where or somehow getting air in the system...,, also the pressure plate could be getting worn,, that could be a likely cause that you dont feel much resistance on the pedal

Alright bro look.A leaking wheel cyl is very common with these cars. Also A bad MC. Pull your drums off and check for leaks. If no probs found then look over the rest of the brake lines for leaks( Highly unlikey). If no probs are found then replace the MC. There may be evidence of leaking at the rear of the MC however if the primary seal of the secondary piston is leaking you will not see any leaks. But if you're losing fluid then rest assured your prob is the MC. Normally there is no need to replace your booster unles you're having pedal assist problems (BTW I was A Honda Tech for 5 years)

my pedal does this, I took off the rear drums and found both wheel cylinders POURING fluid... i'm gonna replace those after my timing belt and see if that cures it.

Problem Solved .. Failed Plunger ..

                in the MC ..

Owell .. like I said .. 250K .. some things simply dont last that long.
We took off the rear drums .. and no leaking (to my suprise) I was dyin to see the slaves.
I coulda sworn it woulda been them .. or, atleast one of them.

Pads were fine, rotars are awesome .. every line in and under the car is a-ok.
Removed the MC .. and the plunger was as fucked as fucked can be.

Sooo, guess I'm good for another 250K .. hehehh .. wellll .. one can dream .. no?

Thanks to all of those who responded and gave great advice .. I never even thought
that I'd get 2 full pages of anyone interested .. ya gotta love CB7T ..
