I have a h22 accord no p/s and a/c. anyways I was driving I-5 and a late 90ish mustang pulled up next to me and I felt like racing at the time so we did a 60 mph roll so I downshifted from 5th to 3rd and once I launched I felt like I was about to loose control of the car because the front end of the car started swinging side to side and I tried to correct my dirrection when I turn the wheel left the car swings right and so on, is this due to the car having to accelerate so fast that it fish tales? or is their something wrong with my steering or my alignment? I had a supra before and when I do the down shift from 5th, it didnt to taht so whats going on? but anyways I still spanked the mustang for a few seconds before I had to it the brakes. any auto technicians out their, hit this post up!

sounds to me like torque steer.. i dont know much about it but i get it too. its just when you shift hard or go into the r's it does that..its wierd i dont know how it works. if someone could elaborate?
