Save my cb7 or sell it?

Alright- my tranny exploded. GONE. So I was wondering something that might be common sense but I'm still not sure. Should I get a new tranny for my car and keep driving it? or not?

The background: pretty much anything that can go out on it has. Motor blew back in june(replaced) Axle went out, seals in new motor went out, Tranny went out, VSS went out, altenator, battery, temp gauge, so much more. So anything that can go out has went out on it. And all is or can be replaced.

So you guys think it's worth it? fixing it? Driving it? What do you guys think the odds are of all that stuff going back out again?

well if your motor and tranny has went then your doing something that you shouldnt. neither your riding it like a crazy person or something. because something just doesnt seem right. if your going to put all these new in your car take care of it. if not then dont even bother. simple as that.

Unless the car was horribly maintained before you purchased it this shouldn't happen unless you're doing some crazy shit in her. I would say just get a new tranny and baby your car because it isn't worth selling with the amount of money already put into repairs.

What are u doing to your car? These motors and tranny's hold up for a LONG time even when you beat on them normally. I mean wow thats alot of stuff to go break But hey i say you put all that money into it keep and just take care of it. Or save for me in a couple months and maybe i'll buy it lol

ya there is no reason for a tranny or a motor both to go unless he or whoever had it is doing something wrong that they shouldnt. i think he needs to spit out the truth about how this car got all fucked up lol. lets start from stracth here buddy!lol

Previous over had it from like 155K to 193 and floored it everywhere. Then I did too at first. I let up a lot after the new motor.

I'd say keep it. Replace the tranny then take as good car of it as you can. Like you said, everything that can be replaced, has been, so that means those problems won't be reocurring as long as you take care of it. Just fix the tranny and drive normal. If the tranny or new engine go again...then figure out what your doing wrong.

stop driving like a bat out of hell and maybe it wont break so much. drive normal. OMFGLMAOWTF. who cares if there are people shit talking, why would you hang around them or be around them in the first place if all they are is a thorn in your side. drive the car nicely, and the car will be nice to you. make sure you replace parts with good parts too. always helps.

No, I mean getting revved on at redlights. Down here in louisville(at least for me) it's like every kid hears your car and tries to race.

The answer is simple. Finger them, and DONT RACE. That is all.

well...you have a choice not to race....

do you have more to gain (winning a race against a civic woohoo) or more to lose (another engine maybe? new tires sooner, more gas etc)

seems like you practically replaced the car with newer part so you know it in and out. think about which choice would make you lose more money. and its common sense that the harder you drive your car the more stress you put it...

you should part it out if you are trying to get the most for it.
