    starting problems

O.k. so my car has an Ignition problem
When you turn the key it gets stuck and the engine starts to make that scratching sound when you turn the key the wrong way (away from you) when the car is already on. I have to fight with the key to turn back towards me without breaking it. After I successfully turn it back and pull the key out, I begin to start it again it doesn't do it, it happens sometimes, now when I go to start the car I have to SLIGHTLY push the key forward so it doesn't get stuck.

this has been going on for a while and now I'm a bit fed up with it.......I got the technique down pack.......press the brake and turn the steering wheel to my left at the same time pull the key towards me...and BOOM its out...lol

    What can be the problem?
Do, I have to replace the Ignition/keys with a whole new set?

Yea, it most likely is the ignition key cylinder that needs replacing. Ask your Honda dealer if they can somehow keep the same key, if not you might have to deal with 2 keys for your car or change them all. Atleast ask the dealer to answer the questions, then choose whether to do it yourself or not. I know the Honda dealer can make any key for a 90-93 Accord based of your VIN # for like $5 a master key.

question. How decorated is your keychain? Believe it or not, too much jazz on the keychain puts strain on the ignition.

          ...adjust accordingly

Sounds like you need a new ignition tumbler/cylinder.

Do that. Get a part number and price too. I can most likely get you the same part at a fraction of the price.
