Sway bar links are what hold your sway bar to your suspension. It looks like a mini barbell and the two "weights" on each side are rubber bushings. These have probably been worn out. You can go to a parts store and get end links with urethane bushings and this will be the last time you have to replace them. Outer tie rod ends are the outmost part of your rack and pinion steering system. It is threaded at one end and has a ball joint at the other. The ball joint on this is probably worn out. This will make the car difficult if not impossible to align properly. My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

At an autoparts store you can expect about:
$30 per outer tie-rod
$17 per sway bar end links
yea money issues arent to bad but if im going to touch 1 thing thats needs fixed under there then im going to get it all fixed at 1 time just so that nothing goes wrong the second time i had that happ. to me plenty of times before....
