    15 psi on OEM rods

    would it be safe for a daily driver? i already got the forged pistons for it

    nope. You should change the rods to eagle and rodbolts while your at it but you can get some oem honda rod bearings.Hate to boost that motor only to get rod knock and flap hole in block

      I cant imagine it would be, but Ive heard of stock motors doing somewhere around 12-14psi, and with the forged pistons, the ringlands would be TONS stronger (obviously).

        I think you can do it. The weak link is really the ringlands...the bottom end should be good with a PHENOMENAL TUNE.

        Then again if you're gonna get pistons you might as well get rods too.

          there has been a couple stock f series motors documented at 25 psi b4 they blew i wouldnt recommend daily driver at 15 psi but i know it can hold that no problem and for any insight on this check homemadeturbo.com

            i want to get rods but i cant find them anywhere under $700, this sucks...

              I think they can handle it. i havnt seen anyone report that they bent the F22 rods under boost.

              however, if your going to replace the pistons anyway, it would be foolish to leave the stock rods in
