oil light (can symbol) plz help cb7'ers

ok guys i know i sold out fora cavy but i really need your guys expertise cuz all the cav forums SUCK... anywayz my oil light comes on.. not the check oil light but the oil light that looks like a can. well it only comes on at idle after the car has warmed up.plz i really need help ive already replaced a shit load of stuff including a oil pump, bearings, clutch etc and i dont want to fuck ne thing up. my guess as of now is that its something electrical or a sensor or somthing..plz help

well if it turns off a few seconds after it starts up then u shouldn thav 2 worry about it. am i right people? correct me if im wrong

Well normally they come on for a couple seconds right after you turn the key but u said it comes on while your idling. Check the oil pressure sender, check the harness that goes into it and see if its dirty or if the wire is broken. And if possible hook up a gauge to the oil pressure fitting and check to see your actual oil pressure

check ur oil level first and top off if it needs some, if not then this point to ur oil pressure switch
