I use an Escort 8500 V1 which aint bad my buddies got a V1 and escort 8500 x50 both work pretty well.

Yea with radar technology nowadays either way your gonna get busted one way or another...I paid 120 from a buddy so I got my radar cheap before the x50 and crap came out.

Dont own it but heard good things. Jams all police issue speed detecting devices for up to 3 miles
I currently have a cobra (insert name here) paid $150 @ best buy..only got one ticket with it, but he was using laser and i wasnt paying attention to the road ahead of me..otherwise..yeah

ok 1 your wrong, it can't jam radar guns which like 90% of police have. Radar jammers are illegal! the only thing u can have are LASER jammers. but anyway, i have an escort 8500 something just got for my b-day and it's great. def worth the money. it's expensive at best buy so go online and save yourself like 75 bucks. i know they make illegal radar jammers but i dunno what the names of them are. but def get escort!!! online your looking at about 250ish. u could go ebay or something and get it cheaper.

ima have to disagree with you there man, i have a cobra radar detector and it works wonders, its saved my ass numerous ammounts of times and not once has ever failed me.

x2...I think even with the detector, part of smart driving is watching the roads and knowing whats going on around you. Lasers have like 500ft range and depending on the road your on and the traffic around you, you can see farther than 500 ft.
Now idk what the cops are like elsewhere or how they like to sit, but where im at, they always sit on the side of the road, so bikes you can see from a distance and you know its The Fuzz. As for cruisers, they sit there and the guys usually hanging out the door so if you see something on the side of the road up ahead, usually slow down to at least 5-7 over. But im smart about it. Flow usually goes 8-13 over so in some places i can get away with 90 in a 70. But for the most part i stick to 8-12 over...thats #1 detector or not, safe/smart driving prevails.

I've been getting Car and Driver since 1996, and I have issues dating back to 1992. Every single time they've tested radar detectors, the Valentine One has decimated the competition. It would be the only one I'd run if I did any serious highway driving. It is also the priciest one though.

I run a cheep Cobra and all it does is beep. Every 3rd or 4th time it might alert me that I got radared already lol.

i dont need a jammers jus a detector to tell whats around me cuz i live where there are some hills and copz love to sit on the sides of the roads around blind corners.
