oil cel light?

? what does it mean when my oil cel light goes on intermittently and starts to blink slowly?
it started today i didnt check oil levels yet or anything. it was on my way to work, but am scare i don't play that sh!t when it comes to oil,thing(oil) is to cars like water is to us(human)


oil's been there for almost 3 month now so its time to change it anyhow, but i want to make sure its oil related and not like the pump or something else thats about to crap on me.

that indicates low pressure in the oiling system, it also indicate that you are low on oil, take care of it quick or else, a rod may stock knocking

any strange noises yet. my oil light flickered on and off and then i spun a bearing.

or it could be that lil switch goin bad if your oil level is ok..or your oil pump.

yup i had this problem.... check your oil if its low then put more ...but if the oil level is fine then replace you oil pressure switch...its right above the oil filter and its not expensive easy to change

am going to change and check oil level tomorow, i hope is just low or something.
i just got this cb7 so i had to transfer all the sh!t from my other auto cb7 to this one, man am tired
i dont wana deal with anymore problems i just wana drive this damn thing.

Mine is going off now after i take some high G turns, so i suppose its low and not enuff pressure, if it keeps on flickering after u turn ur car off and on, then immediatly get ur oil changed.

I had the same problem....oil pressure switch fixed it for me.. $7 i think
