dude my car is making that exact same noise...except i have a h22 swapped in...im located in south kc...also i had a friend listen to it and he said that it sounded like the timin was off or the belt was rubbing something...there is a place in grandview, mo called otto auto and they specialize in honda/acura...i talked to them and they said that if i brought it up there they could figure out what it was...and i saw that someone said something about a kc meet, when is it?

does the noise get worse when you rev it? cause the noise in my engine does...it also gets worse when i close the butterfly valve on the throttle body all the way...

Sounds like your starter is staying engaged. It sounds like that when you engage it after the car is started.

It sounds to me like you need a valve lash adjustment.
