Maples out of the cb7 game unless someone is willing to help. engine= gone.

So it's my time. Fucking engine %^&*(, I had my moms bf's (someone related to him who's a mechanic. and he just looked at my car and said my TB is so fucked. It's loose and he say's it's skipping. Since it died at idle, I might have ot bent' any valves or whatever.

fuck. That's all I have to say. I have the motor from old car i could swap but I need help and don't have all the proper tools/help needed for it

    This pisses me off.

I might even drive my bro's car if i fix his clutch for a while and buy an h22 longblock for the time being. who knows.

    Im fucking pissed.

Really all you would need is a set of sockets shallow and deep, and hand tools and something to lift the motor out of the car.. I do the shade tree way and use a tree lol..

Proably about 50$ total at walmart if you don't plan on using the tools for anything more then personal working on your car they will be fine.
        Hi, I'm Shippo and I have a problem. I keep buying CB7's.

Try swapping the throttle bodies first.

thats what I said to him on AIM. he was complaining about the tools or something.

why dont you ask cp[mike] to come up and help? hes pretty good at this stuff, and Im sure he wouldnt charge you too much for helping.

That's what I was going to ask. If you don't know when it was last changed, there's your answer to the question, "Why me?"

Man. Why don't you just turn the engine to TDC, and take a look at where your cam pully is at. If it's off, put it back where it should be, then take a look at your belt tentioner to see if it's okay. If so, tighten that belt back up and see how she runs!

Or, you can sell me the car for $500, and I'll do it.
