most likely the leak is from the outer tail lite lenses..the ones on the trunk hardly evr leak.......the gaskets are kind of foamy rubber and with age they crack and leak. I have replaced a shit load of them.. the gaskets are about 5-6 dollars each.....remove the tail lite lenses, replace gaskets . before reinstalling clean area real good, put a beed of silicone ( honda-bond ) between gasket and body,, put all together ..

I had trunk (boot ,here in the UK
) leakage and traced it to the tail light seals, ( i siliconed round the lip outside the 4 bolts, then pressed it up against the body to see where it needed more, took it off and heavily siliconed round the mark that it left...no probs since! ) the aerial (rusted through...replaced) and the seams on the welds seem to let some water in too..So some brushable seam sealer sorted those out...Good Luck!
