    Clutch switch problems

I've been having starter problems so finally i went to take a look at it. I jumped the solenoid on the starter to the battery and wouldn't you know it starter works like a charm. My next guess was the ignition switch but i thought i'd check the clutch switch out first. BINGO. I jumped #19 in the top left corner of the picture and the car starts pefectly everytime (even without the clutch disengaged of course). Anyways i also unplugged switch # 20 I didn't have to jump this switch at all i just left it unplugged for now. My question is this what is switch # 20 for? Did honda want to be SUPER safe with the clutch switch?

There are two switches on the clutch for all versions except the DX. Number 20 is to disengage the cruise control immediately when the clutch is depressed. Number 19 engages when the clutch is almost all the way to the floor.
