    gap in the window

i know my RR window motor has been broken for a few years now and since then it had a 1mm gap.
recently i was dricing friends to a breakdancing thing and he rolled the thing all the way down but it couldnt go back up due to the weak/faulty motor.
now the gap has incresed to about an inch, i cant push it up any furthur.

i even ripped the door panel off, and tried to assist the window all the way back up but it wont go any furthur than the inch.

anyway to fix it temporarily without replacing the motor? (i really dont use the window so i dont think i really need to replace it)

the gap may cause a security issue and also wind noise on the freeway, thanks guys

why not just fix it for $50?

i used one like this for the same window and it works perfectly. i'm sure there's a way you could rig it and wedge something in there and disconnect the motor, but over $50? thats like a tank of gas nowadays.

I agree with this guy^^^. My right rear window did the exact same thing and it was not only a security issue but a weather one too especially when it rained. I hit up the junkyard for a new regulator and its worked fine since then. Don't skimp here. Although I don't use that window often its better off in the long run to not have to worry about pushing it up or it being stuck.

      ...adjust accordingly
