Dont worry you still have regular brakes, you just dont have ABS.
You got to retrive the code, or go to any Autozone, they'll pull the code for free.

If it its not fluid level its more than likely an ABS wheel sensor.
    Sometimes, its more complicated.

Fill it up with fluid first and see if it takes it away. Cheapest way.

He did say the fluid levels are fine. Well, I can say that older cars do have ABS issues later on in their life time. It can be something simple like loose ABS Computer connection, damaged wheel sensor, and other wear and tear. I would inspect all the components for signs of wear and tear.

I would retrive the code first, but thats just me.

Pull the code. I've had 2 wheel sensors go in the last 6 months, and the symptoms were exactly as you describe. I'm sure there's a thread around here somewhere giving you instructions - it's the same as pulling the ECU code, except the ABS light blinks the code. Anything starting with 4 (eg 4-1, 4-2, 4-8) is a bad wheel speed sensor, which I can generally find at a junkyard for about $10.
I swear, eventually I'll run out of things to break.

I guess I was wrong... I broke it all. Died 10/29/06

Indeed. From my experiences, that barely narrows down the field. Hell in my buddy's Civic the code wasn't even correct.

PM me with what code you get and I'll send you a diagnostic chart if its not a speed sensor.
