overheating like crazy

car overheats. needle goes past H. underhood smokes. i replaced t-STAT.
Still overheats bad. smell coolant. when i let off da gas for da first time temp needle jumps to H and engine bogs a little at about 30mph. removed a/c a while ago. problem just started. ima flush it in an hour or so! is that enough info to pinpoint da problem? will let you know how flush went.

First of all PRAY that when it hit Past that H and sounds like you drove it for a while up there a couple of times that your head/block isnt warped or cracked. That would be your nightmare. WHen does it start overheating? WHen your moving or when your stopped?

after flush. back to same old sh@t!

i flushed it 2day. nothing would come out until i started it. that never happened before. da coolant was clean (no oil) but had this weird white stuff in in it. refilled. saw coolant dripping off tranny, more then wat shulda been. i started the car, and fluid poured off da tranny. i couldnt find the source. i took it for ride. and it fluctuated for about 2 miles. i stopped at a long lite n it shot up to H. i cheked for dripping but there was none. now it goes to H in about 4 min. after starting it.

should/wanna do my H23 head swap now.

plus water pump and rad. hose kit. i think da snapped valve cover bolt started dis mess. oil is under my hood above the snap. some of da smoke comes out the whole when it overheats. where can i get a good price for some good head.

it's ur radiator i had this prob a few weeks ago if u have ur stock radiator and the fins the radiator fins are clos together meaning in the winter it's ok but summer the radiator fins don't allow air 2 past through at a fast pace get a nissen radiator it's basically like a aftermarket rad but u don't have 2 pay 400 bucks for one but my radiator is stock looking but if u can basically look straight threw my rad that's what i suggest the problem is the radiator fins or go 2 a half civic rad from a 00 civic si and advance and autozone are where u can find these radiators

its my second rad! advanced has da si rad in stock fo $108. i always wanted one. wat kinda rad. hose kit should i get? im getn my first new water pump too. wich is better/easier? electric or oem? after that im gettn some head.

Weird white stuf huh? Milky sort off? Let me ask you, do you drive an automatic? Milky substance in coolant = tranny oil cooler leaking or ruptered line. Not good!

yeah its an auto!

and yeah its dat milky ish. could i switch to manual and get the trans cooling lines that come with it.

i took da rad out, no cracks or moisture, but dat milky ish was all up in it. no lines were leaking. i saw the oil line (there was oil in it) no leaks. changed my motor oil to chek fo contaminants, and nothing. put on new rad cap. but it was back to same old ish. but i poured water into rad while car was running and da needle dropped to da middle but went back up a minute later. so i think pump is working. oh and i got a code of 1 and 6. im beat! oil leaking out of valve cover. need new bolt and gasket!

cause and effect

ive had leak in flex pipe for a while. thats finaly taking its toll on my baby too. (damn back order header)! Im never able to find the important stuff.
