    whining noise, slight vibration when accelerating

    Ok, I am taking my car in today because I have this constant whining noise while my car is on (91 LX auto) and also the car has some slight vibration in the car floor, steering wheel, and I can feel it in the pedal. I was wondering if anyone had similar problems....the whining noise is coming from the power steering pump/alternator section of the engine bay. I guess I'll get an answer tomorrow but was wondering if anyone else had some problems similar to mine. The car seems to run fine but I can definetely tell something went wrong.

    whining noise from that area cud mean either the alternator bearings are going bad..or the power steering pump is going bad..

    is the vibration ALWAYS there..like even at idle..or only while moving slow..or at high speeds..some more details would help..and which pedal do u feel it in..air pedal, brake pedal??

    let us kno man..pe@ce
