    automatic d3 shift

Okay I have a this question, Have you guys with automatics, have you ever felt like an over drive sensation, kind of like a vtec boost, when hitting 60mph and on, I always feel this when I'm on d3 mode and hitting 60 and a little boost kicks in, what is this?, engine specs are f20a sohc block with f22a1 sohc outer parts,

You mean you drive around in D3? When I'm in D3 it feels like I only shift to 2nd and thats it. I'll try it and let you know.

try it out and you will probably feel what I mean, What I mean is that I shift it from 1, 2, d3, d4, and d3 is where I feel the boost, But don't try at full open throttle, try to keep it at half throttle

Same thing I was thinking.... does a jdm f20a have the secondaries? My friend hyphyaccord has a jdm f22a and it looks like a regular a1,a4 motor with no butterfly secondaries like a a6 motor.....but for some odd reason it seems to pull harder than my old f22a6.

Take a picture of your intake manifold near the oil cap side.

This might be true, but the thing is that I use my f22a1 intake manifold on the f20a block

if you have an F20A SOHC w/F22A1 parts, you shouldnt' have dual runners.

my guess is that you're feeling your max tq/hp between 4500-5500 rpm.

btw, this is not good for your tranny.

I feel a boost around 4500 rpm, while it's climing, and then my rpm's drop back to 4000 rpm's but my speed is still climing,

btw, I've been doing this for longest time, on my tranny and my tranny is still running strong
