This rear mount insert vs. McMaster's polyurethane mix

    Should I get this?

Or should I get the McMaster's kit? I like that this insert is just a simple pop-in and go type deal and that it costs less than the kit...and it's polyurethane so it'll be stiff...ahhh I think I'm just gonna order this. Thoughts?

get some windshield adhesive and make your own mounts. It won't be as pretty, but they last longer and are a lot stronger than just inserts.

I used window weld and it only lasted about 3 months. It cant hold up to the heat .

I have that prothane insert. It's actually urethane like the description says not polyU. It's harder than my front polyU insert. I responded in your other thread too about the mount.
But definately go within filling your own mounts if you have the time.

This is about the rear insert that I had:
I would personally go with the Insert. It works really well, is stiffer than hell, and is very durable. I had one for 2+ years and finalyl got sick of it with my 60+ miles per day drives to and from work in traffic. So I took it out....did not have to buy a new mount or anything. Sold it to a guy who wanted an insert.
Anyway its extremely stiff, much more so than I expected. It does work great for controlling engine movement.

Fill em', cause u can do them all. Woulda filled my rear one too if i'd known about it from the beginning.

Well I mean honestly I wanna fill em...but I don't have the time, and I really need to replace this mount. Down the line I might pick up mounts from a junked CB, get the McMasters kit and fill 'em...but I just wanna fix this mount now and worry about stiffening everything up later. Honestly if I could get this insert and a urethane insert for the front torque strap I think I'd be happy...worry about the filling later.

Other than the rear mount, the mount on the passenger side, and the front torque strap mount what other mounts are there?
