hiccupping at low rpms... skipping cylinder?

Somewhat recently my car had started hiccupping at lower rpm's or at idle.
Sounds as if it's skipping a cylinder, and my car bogs really low.
It also does it when I'm taking off from a stop... unless I give it a LOT of gas, which in turn has been eating my clutch.

Could it simply be my timing? (new timing belt installed 6k miles ago)
I dont think it's a headgasket cause my oil looks fine, car runs at normal temps, and I'm not spitting any more white smoke than usual
Spark plugs are new 3k miles ago... NGK at a certified Honda shop.
Plug wires are a bit old, but they look good... they're also NGK.

Car still has all the power (I think) at higher rpms in the fun-zone... it just hiccups really low at lower rpms.

Any ideas would be grately appreciated.

Whens the last time you gave it a real tune-up? What grade gas do you use? do you have your accessories on like the a/c or anything else like a sound system? did you change the cap and rotor?

When the car is cooled, open up the radiator cap, top off with some coolant...maybe air in the coolant lines? That's my only thought so far b/c you said at idle and take off...

no accesories on, I dont have AC, I'm pretty sure it's not electrical... but then again I'm not sure of much

heres the recent maintnence I've had done

        *New Timing Belt
        *New Master Cylinder
        *New Motor Ground
        *New Cooling Fans
        *New Front Motor Mount
        *Front-end Alignment
        *New Fast-Idle Valve
        *New EGR Valve
        *New Oxygen Sensor
        *New Knock Sensor
        *New Power Steering Pressure Line
        *New Oil Pan
        *New Rear Wheel Cylinders
        *New Ignition Switch
        *New Main Relay
        *New Spark Plugs

I replaced the cap about two years ago... but not the rotor.
if it's something as simple as a cap and rotor I'm gonna hit myself

        and Accord13&BA4...
I've done what you said already, cause I was suspicious of it being air in the radiator as well... but even with the radiator cap off, it stayed flowing with not much of a drop in level. I added a little water to it, and left the cap off with the car running for a while. It did not help the hiccup problem.

Thanks for the input folks... I'm gonna bring it into the shop soon, just want to know what may be the problem before I bring it there.

edit: OH... and I ALWAYS use 91 or higher octane.

Cap and Rotor would be a good thing to check as sparkle mentioned.

my car has been doing the same thing last couple mornings....once its warmed up it goes away....only thing i can think of is, since i am killin my fuel pump with 1/4 of a tank - 1/8 tank on a regular basis, i think its sucking up the crap on the bottom which i think causes it to sputter and bog heavly....my shop teacher thinks that since its been kinda damp and raining last couple mornings, i could have mostiure inside my cap, or water in the tank.....

              mine acts the opposite....

when it's cold, it doesnt do it (naturally, as it's usually at high rpm's while warming up [~1500])

once it warms up, though, it gets pretty bad.

I'm gonna take the cap off when my car cools down, and take a look at the shituation.

                - change distributor cap & rotor with OEM Honda parts
                - replace/check your spark plug wires which can ground out early if they are bad and cause misses
                - check that your cam timing is correct, in case your timing belt job was done wrong

Ben, since your plug was cracked last time, take them out, and make sure they are the right ones. The dude at the shop is probably not using the right plugs, because he will most likely be using the same plugs for any ol' 91 accord, not an H22 Accord. Take them out, throw them at somebody, and buy new plugs. Also its a good possibility that its the timing or O2 sensor.

replaced rotor, drove it and it was the same

replaced spark plugs, and it's smooth as butter!
didn't think it would be the plugs, as they're less then 5000 miles old.... but thet did it!

Thanks a ton to Will (wrichards2005) for the help today.

possible main relay known to go bad and/or EGR passages maybe.

                      oh just noticed above post.

yeah..check that Cap and Rotor...maybe a point is has some corrosion on it and its not firing that cylinder !!

and if you have an EXTERNAL ignition coil check that as well !!!

                        GOOD LUCK!!
