    I have a brake problem....

So here is my little problem. First off I have a '93 LX, discs in front, drums in back.

So, sometimes when stopping I lose a lot of my braking pressure (pedal falls to floor). Fluid level is good, so no leaks. It seems it happens more often when I have the A/C running like full blast. The brake pads are good, and I am not sure about the drums, but I do know that my parking brake works damn well. Any diagnosis? Is it the MC, or something dealing with the vacuum?

master cylindar. if it was a brake booster problem, the pedal would be rock hard. i would check the rear wheel cylindars though. its not common for them to leak.

      You have dead pedal syndrome.

      It's your master cylinder.
      Get one asap.

      They run around $130.ish? maybe?
This is a common thing for Honda cars of this generation...the average life of a master cylinder is about 10 years or more...

Do this before the summer, hot weather days, your pedal will sink even faster/more...

Yeah, I am getting a master cylinder, because that is what I thought it was, a used one though, for like $25 then I will have all the lines drained and bled, and the shoes for the back replaced.

why get a used one that will prolly fail again! at least get a remanufactured one if you can't afford a brand new unit. remans run about $50. it's cheap insurance on the system that helps you stop your car! do it right the first time. my $0.02.

I agree with Accord13 and Timmy. Do it before the summer and get a new cylinder not a refurbished, junkyard, or used one.

Yep you can get a new MC or try to bleed if that solves your problem a lil. If it doesnt its your MC.

I am gonna get a new MC, and do it this weekend, and borrow a power bleeder from Advance Auto. I need new brake pads too, but I want another set of AEM ones, but don't have the money now.

You are really late because I replaced MC yesterday and it solved the problem.
