emission test

ok so i just took my car to get the stickers and the guy tells me that the car don't pass the emistion test. i ask why and he tells me that it might be a lot of things.
now a week ago i swaped the engine. there were only 90k on the new engine. when i finished i was geeting three codes. code 6 code 14 and code41. after clearing the ecu i only had the O2 sensor code. so i go under the car and unplug the O2 sensor. clean the plugs and then conect them again. when i start the car i don't get the O2 code anymore. 2-my fuel efiency sucks. with half tank full i get about 100-110 miles. that sucks. so my questions are;
how can check/fix the problem of emision. i don't want a way how to pass it. i just want a way how to fix it. i changed the oil a week ago and the filter. there is no smoke coming out of the car or add. please help. i hate when there is something wrong with my car.
my car is a 90 accord ex automatic trans. just swaped an engine that came out of a 92 accord dx manual trans.

i only put a 90 accord dx engine. that is it. the engine had only 90k on it. i get a bad fuel milage. with HALF TANK FULL i get only 100 miles. i was getting a O2 sensor code but i just unplaged and plug it back the sensor and the code went away.
what do u think guys>>> what is wrong with my car. help me out because i am starting to hate my car.

check ur timming....

maybe that o2 sensor is just bad, u can test it with a voltage tester, helms has something on how to test it...

thats about how much mileage i get at half tank, maybe less.
i get around 220 at half, then about 100 after.

Point us all in the right direction here.....what exactly are you failing on? NOX, HC's, or CO's?

well i did't ask. but i know that my car burns gas like is a v6. with half tank i only go about 90-100 miles. i don't know why. i got the stickers(don't ask how) but still why didn't i pass the emition and why am i burning that much gas. i don't drive fast i don't don't race.

I got the same shit going..except I have a EX motor in my lx so the 02 sensor bung is on the manifold.....i went to the yard and clipped o2 wires off a civic because im gonna try and connect them.

Check your fuel filter that may be the problem. My car sucks gas like a crackhead sniffin crack and i have to refill it every 2 days. but i hope this fixes my problem
