does anyone ever notice at low rpm's there intake is making a rattling sound i have a ebay intake maybe thats the problem

never happened to my old ebay one, but then i got pissed at my old one and bought an aem, the aem has a bolt down to one of the mounts for a wire harness. so the intake doesnt move, your best bet, spend another 100 dollars and buy the aem intake.

try putting a z-strap on to make it more secure..

mine was rattling at first.. then the z-strap fixed it. no more rattle.

yea....the ebay intakes dont have the bracket to hold it down..either strap it with a zip-tie, use the lil brackets it brought (still dont know how to use those damn things), or buy a more expensive one that brings it

ok its tight but i still rattles to me but when some drives my car and im out of it i dont hear it, but when im in the car i do

are you sure it's the intake? have you looked around the filter to see if there's any metal to metal rubbing marks? ...i get rattlling from my hood holder thingy when ever my idle decides to be rough ....
