it's actually a "sticker". Looks lighted up, tho. But i NEVER see it glowing. So i assume it's a sticker. And fizzbob is right, it's just a service indicator like the stickers they put on yer car after an oil change/tune up. And when it turns red, that means your car is going to blow to pieces
mine is a dial that comes up every 7500 miles....hehe put a shift light in it =)
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!
Yea, I've noticed that around 3,000 miles it turns red, right around when you should change the oil. That's if you reset it when you previously changed the oil. Personally, I still keep track of mileage til next oil change on a log sheet I made up

i was planning on keeping a log of EVERYTHING i did to my car, whether it be getting oil or washing it or putting a new intake on it or getting my tires rotated or anything, but im way too lazy and my ideas always outweigh my energy, lol

Yea bud, I already bee doing that . Made up an excel spreadsheet for all the cars and even went thru all the paperwork for things done in past, and been loggin in the current shit so it's updated. Keep it backed up on my computer & reprint it every so often.
However, the 2 Accords get most of my attention...the other cars I don't care for much
