Motor oil for our CB7's

castrol or royal purple. only use royal purple if u have a relatively new engine that has no leaks. that stuff is sweet but if u had leaks b4 u will have even worse leaks, and if u didn;t have leaks b4, u MAY have leaks after. i only use castrol synthec part synthetic 5w-30.

as far as brand some of the best are, redline, royal purple, mobile 1, castrol. later.

Agreed, except Castrol. I have GTX in my car right now, 10w-30 (for AZ), and it makes my engine ping like a bitch on start up. Last oil change I had Mobil 1 Clean 5000 and it was quiet and smooth.

I use RP. 10w30 that is for me.
