    exhaust question

i have a brand new oem axleback for my friend. only problem is she needs the whole cat back. i also have the 2 pipes she needs but theyre 2.25". the flanges are fine and theyll bolt up to the oem axle back but will the bigger pipe going into the smaller pipe do anything? not gaining hp is no problem she jus needs something quiet again. Im goin to see if any one wants to trrade for oem pipes but if i dont find any one soon then im thinkin of just giving her the 2.25 pipes

i saw just do it...the oem muffler will sufficiently reduce the amount of noise (if any) created byt he larger piping.

it wont hurt anything (gaskets, pipes, or engine some how) bc the larger pipe is going into a smaller one right?
