Stuck window need help to diagnose problem

92 Accord EX, back right window. Windows stuck 1/2 way down, took the door panle off to see if it was off track but it doesn't seem to be. Don't know if its a motor, regulator problem or switch. I don't want to go taking off the motor and some how break the glass
All the windows are still greasy but could probably use the tracks greased up again. the back right is just stuck. When I push on the window button I can here a click sound almost like a silinoid click. The window doesn't even try to go up or down anymore. Would like to know what the prob is before taking it to someone and paying a flat fee just to diagnose. All the windows make a annoying squeaky sound when going up or down but not all the time. The drivers side window control makes a weird sound coming from the button. Is there a seperate fuse for each window motor/regulator? All the other windows still work( for now) so is it wiring, motor, regulator? How hard is it to replace the regulator/motor track? Thanks for any help

Before you do all of that like takin the panel off and changin motors in them. I did this a couple of times and it worked cause of the passenger side motor. That wasnt the case after a while the rubber gets a bit of friction with the window goin up and down from time to time.

Try puttin a bit of silicon grease in between the grooves /tracks of the windows inside where the window meets the rubber so it has less friction with the grease. If that doesnt work check the fuse for the window. If that doesnt work try the motor or relay maybe some gears finaly gave out which is hardly likely on a honda knock on wood.

Do you know anyone in your area with a 4dr CB7? You could just swap out the window switch with a know good one....if it still doesn't work, then you know its the motor.

There is a seperate fuse for each window in the fuse box in the engine compartment they are all labeled on the fuse box cover. Have you tried helping the window move by pushing down or pulling up on it?

I have tried to help the window up and down but it won't budge. I looked for seperate fuses but saw only the relay for the whole system. I think its the motor though, is it hard to change it out your self. I've done lots of stuff- struts, brakes, exhaust, belts, head swaps. Just never had to mess with the window. I haven't had too much time to mess with it, with work and kids.

I have the same problem with my drivers side

Hey, maybe someone can help me,

my drivers side window on cold days only likes to go down about 1/4 of the way, and on warm days it will go down all the way but has a hard time doing it, if i help it, it always goes down, i sprayed sillicon in the visable track and that will fix it for a day, but i was unable to get the door panel off because i could not pry out the door handle without it acting like it was going to break, any idea? thanks

from my experience for lube I would use the white lithium grease, works better stays longer. Check how much friction is on the window from the weather stripping. I'm still trying to diagnose why mine is stuck. Good luck with yours
