What Is The Difference?

I searched for an answer to my question but this is the only thread I found. So i'll add to it...
Can you use a starter that came with an F22 on an H23 H22 or any other tranny. Are they exchangable?
There seems to be different part numbers through Honda and autozone and I was looking through ebay for pictures and what they say application fits.
I would think the answer is yes.

As far as the calipers go it is Nissin and Akebono if im not mistaken and yea i would just invest in a Haynes manual or look it up on the internet...if your feeling really froggy do what tha dude said and call a dealership!

There is a difference. Manual and Automatic starters BOTH come in acouple flavors.

NipponDenso and Mitsuba.
bosh or autolite or any other remanufactured starters fall in the replacement catagory of nippondenso or mitsuba/ auto or manual.

It does matter witch one you use.

Best way to find out is to:
1)look for a sticker on the starter
or
2)Take out the original starter and take it to wherever you buy your parts from and compair it with what they have in stock.

if its any esier for you which i assume it is tell them they should get out of the buisness the brand doesnt fucking matter
