    Stuck Spare Tire

Today after school i came home and got my car to go back to school for tutorials. On my way back home i had a blow out on my front right tire. good thing i was in the neighborhood. I pulled over put on the spare drove back home. I am grounded from my car so i thought i would just be able to take it off when i get home. i jack up the take off the bolts and start pulling the spare off. NOthing is happening and it stuck. Does anybody know what i need to take it off.

Hmm, I would give it a good kick, and if that doesn't do it, you might try lowering it just so that there is some weight put onto the tire (but the car is still supported by the jack) and turn the steering wheel some, it might do something.

          Good luck!

Sometimes spare tires will be bolted down to the car by one of the lugs. Check...

Im assuming your using a scissor jack, so put your tire that got a blow out under the car or if you have a few jackstands use them, then go from behind the wheel and kick the shit outa it.

That's happened to me twice with the steelies. Give the tire a good, swift kick UPWARD on the top of the tire and it should come off. Good luck!

Well like everyone else Said give it a good Swift Kick and it will come off. But What it is the aluminum when it heats up it Expands and when it cools down it temperarly welds itself to the hub

Give it a swift kick or smack it on the tire with a mallet and it should come right off...Just be careful not to mess up the wheel... i too had this problem when i had my steelies on my car... If you need to, hit it from the back...

i have that happen to me all the time on my stock wheels. i just take the lift down far enough to where i can kick it a lil bit, if that dont work get a piece of wood(w/ no nails or nothin) and then hold it on the tire and hit the wood with a hammer

like everybody said get it a good kick...cause you just finish driving so everything is tight on hot....if you can't get it off well! just wait a while till it cools down than try again
