    Tranny Hard to shift.

it started last night as i was on my way home from friends house. as i drove it got harder and harder to shift into gears. 5th grinds now because it's not engauging properly. and today like 5min ago i drove it around the block, it's very hard to put into gear, i physically hafta try very hard to put into gear... checked reservior looks ok fluid level is ok. could my tranny fluid be low? i just filled it last month with new honda MTF. could my clutch be shot? suggestions plz.

Detail- He can shift just fine when the car off.

prob clutch related, throw out bearing.. maybe the shift fork? i dunno kinda hard to diagnose, more details.

when/how/ while you were driving? how long ago, etc.

Have you replaced your clutch recently or still OEM? it kinda sounds like a clutch issue.

How many miles you got on it. Might be wore out alread since theres nothing leaking from the MC or slave cylinder. My OEM lasted me till 172300 miles before it took a crap on me. When i changed out the clutch it was wore all the way down to bare metal and flywheel was burnt to shit.

So you bought a new tranny and used the clutch that was in there?

might be the clutch master cylinder. when it leaks internaly, it can't hold the hydraulic pressure later.

humm i checked the clutch fluid reservior and it looks to be the correct level, i'm going to check the tranny to see if it has enough fluid in there and also check the center consel for linkage problems.

There's also a clutch pedal adjustment that you might want to check. It's up at the top of the pedal...
