    Fuel Pump Marathon

I just had my fuel pump R&R. Now when you shut the car off, it still runs on -- off, on -- off, etc. How the hell can that sum b run if the ignition switch is turned off? Did they screw up or did my ignition switch decide to roll over and die? Anyone ever have this problem

Well im up here lookin in the chiltons booklet manual. And it says )engine diesels ( continues to run) after switching off it says

    1) Idle speed too high
    2) Excessive engine operating temperature
3)Ignition timing in need of adjustment

It's lookin' like a bad ignition switch...if I turn it on/off a couple of times it stops. BTW, car runs fine, this is only after the ignition switch is turned off, you can hear the fuel pump pulsing. I have the original switch so I think it is just starting to wear out. I also just noticed a delay when you jurn the key to the accessory position before items turn on.
