popping noise coming frm exhaust

first off when i star my engine i here this real loud clicking noise but once heats up all u here is popping noise coming frm exhaust whats the prob

You have an exhaust leak somewhere.

Get your car on a lift, check for cracks along the piping. Most likely, it would be your flex pipe...it is old if you havent changed it.

What the man above me said. Run your hand around the flexpipe (not touching) and if you feel air coming out you just found your leak. My aftermarket header the bracket ripped off the flex pipe and had a massive exhaust leak. Just got one of my buddies to reweld it and it works just fine now.

my have have a poping sound from exhasut too..but I only heard it when i rev it up and i heard a pop..

Is it normal to have air coming from between the header and the head? I guess the gasket is bad.

ya when my gasket went bad i heard alot of poppin but since i fixed it no air is coming in so it went away

can also be the fast idle valve......needs to be screw in...
