    Got A Problem

Okay well, I have a 90 Lx with a swapped h23a1. The problem is that the previous owner used the stock accord power steering bracket and so my pump sits too high and actually rubs on my CF hood. A section of the framing of the hood was cut out to try and help it but it still rubs. It has gotten so bad that the power streering line has gotten a flat spot now and my hood is work through all the way to the clear coat. Now i was just wondering if anyone has used another p/s pump and bracket. tensioners etc. I was thinkin maybe off a 1998 2.3 CL. But i didn't know if someone else knows somethin else i can use or some other way to correct the problem. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated as this motor will be going into my new 90 ex and I don't want this problem destroying another 4-500 dollar hood.

did you try searching in the swaps forum? I am betting not since I am sure this has been covered before.

Thats what i would do or i am planning to do since my PS hose is doing the same thing. For right now my temporary fix i hit the hose down a lil with a rubber hammer but it still does the same thing just to an extent. I dunno if the H23 PS will sit a lil lower if not the h22 one but it might work?

Cut a little Shute in the Hood and Make it Look Like it's got a Intercooler Scoop.
