Fakking Front End Vibrations!!!

I swear if it's not one thing it's another. I had my wheels balanced a while back, front end vibrations went away. I had an axle replaced when my clutch got changed. Now, when I accelerate around 70MPH, I get CRAZY vibrations. WTFAKKK!!!! I know it's not wheel related as that is very resonant...i.e. you can pinpoint exactly where the vibrations are the craziest...with this, it's just kind of general shakery from 60-80MPH, and only under acceleration.

Does glory need new wheel bearings? As you might remember, I messed up my crossmember and was driving around with crazy toe/caster for a good 2 weeks or so...everything seemed fine when I got the wheel back in its right position...but now I think my bearing is going. WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!

Tie rods? What are those, the joints that go from the LCA to the front crossmember?

You got a new axle put on? Get an alignment. Any time you play with suspension you should get an alignment, this may clear up your problem.

This is how to check an axle..

Hold either of the red parts, try to rotate the shaft (green part) forward or backwards... if there is any play, then its gotta be replaced.



But usually a bad axle will give you vibrations all the time while accelerating hard. More noticable at higher speeds since ... your going faster.

How about going in there and greasing all the bushings first. Then check and see if any of the bushings are cracked. The tie rods is the one that attaches to the steering rack and then to the spindle.
