    FICV Removal??

I was wondering last night while trying to sleep, about removing the FICV and using a block-off plate and just loop the coolant lines back into the IACV. It would possibly resolve idling problems for those who have them, but would eliminate the fast idle. Just an idea, ran a search and turned up no results (just in case this had been covered)

    Oh Bloody Hell!

That would be like bypassing a fuse because it keeps on blowing.

Not really, I myself am not having any idle problems, but I got lucky to have two FICV's. I'm sure some people aren't as lucky and have erratic idles. The only downside to this it seems is the fast idle would be gone. Not much worse than EGR blockoff plate...
