Yet another horn and cruise thread

Ok i have searched and i havent came up with a good answer yet, here is the problem in my 90 accord, brake lamp light came on all lights work still, then one night used to horn on some guy it stopped working and the cruise was not holding speed but was lighting up, all fuses are good to. I then decided to try to fix the horn and cruise i could hear a faint noise when i pushed the horn so i decided to hit the steering wheel with my fist and the horn started to work perfectly same with the cruise and now i got nothing, so if anyone could give me ideas ill most likly take apart the steering wheel but any sugestions would be great.

Maybe the ribbon inside the wheel is loose or something. If the cruise AND the horn isn't working that's the only electrical connection besides the airbag(if equipped) that's in the steering wheel.

ya maybe it was just really weird i hit the wheel and it started to work again did it a few times,

Look for a bad ground wire.

is your car an auto??? if it is, do your brake lights work?? if the brake lights do not work, then check the brake pedal position sw.

Why don't you check the horn which is located on the inside part ofthe bumper light in the front bumper (kinda hard to explain) and looks like a circle. Mine had the same problem a couple of weeks ago.

no those work, when i used to push the horn i could hear a very faint noise so i decided to give the sterring wheel a little smack and boom works perfect it used to cut out so i would just smack it and it would start to work along with the crusie so what could i be looking for now since it dont work no more
